Interactive Designer

Cortina Productions, a leader in creating engaging and innovative interactive exhibits for museums, is seeking an experienced Interactive Designer. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional conceptual and graphic design skills, with a focus on interactive content delivery and user interface design.

Responsibilities:

  • Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Develop wireframes that effectively illustrate the user experience.
  • Export assets for programming as required.
  • Actively participate in concept development and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with producers, programmers, Directors, and Executives to ensure exhibit goals are met.
  • Maintain design quality throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate design intent to producers and programmers.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience and BFA/MFA in Graphic Design.
  • Strong visual design skills, including typography, composition, and color usage.
  • Proven experience in creating user interfaces and developing color schemes.
  • Experience in producing design process deliverables – wireframes, style frames, experience maps, mood boards, etc.
  • Proficiency with touch-screen interactive applications.
  • Expertise in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational, project and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on design excellence.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range – $64,000-$90,000/year
